If you own or manage a property in Egypt with visual character — rooftop, heritage building, terrace, industrial space or distinctive interior — we may be able to include it in our location database.
How the database works
Our location database is used by film productions, advertising agencies, commercial shoot producers and branded content teams working in Egypt. When a production sends us a brief, we search the database for properties that match their visual and logistical requirements.
Properties in the database are presented to relevant productions with photographs, access notes and logistics information. We manage all communication with the production team and coordinate any permit requirements. Property owners are not expected to handle production logistics themselves.
From submission to shoot
Submit your property
Contact us with basic information about your property: location, type, key visual features and your availability for a site visit. Include photographs if you have them.
Site assessment
A member of our team visits the property to document it for the database. We photograph the space, note access conditions, infrastructure and any relevant constraints. This is a one-time visit unless conditions change significantly.
Database listing
Your property is added to our searchable database with photographs and detailed notes. We maintain the listing and update it when you notify us of changes to availability or access.
Production matching
When a production's requirements match your property, we contact you to confirm availability and discuss the shoot. We handle all coordination between you and the production team.
Shoot day coordination
Our team is on site during the shoot. We manage access, handle crew logistics and act as the point of contact so you are not required to be present throughout if that does not suit you.
Property types in our database
Heritage and historic properties
Buildings with original architectural detail from any period. Interior features, facades, courtyards and period-specific elements are particularly sought by productions looking for authentic settings.
Rooftops and elevated spaces
Properties with accessible rooftop areas and views over Cairo, Alexandria or other cities. Skyline access is consistently requested for both film and commercial productions.
Nile-view properties
Any property with a direct or partial sightline to the Nile. Terraces, balconies and interior spaces with river views. Morning, afternoon and evening light conditions all have different production applications.
Industrial and commercial spaces
Warehouses, workshops, factories and commercial buildings with interesting internal structure. These environments are used for controlled lighting setups and contemporary-style productions.
What property owners ask
Is my property guaranteed to be selected for a shoot?
No. Inclusion in the database means your property will be considered for relevant productions. Whether it is selected depends on the specific requirements of each brief.
Do I need to be present during the shoot?
Not necessarily. Our team coordinates on-site logistics. If you prefer to be present, that is also possible. We discuss this with each property owner individually before confirming any shoot.
Who handles permits for my property?
We handle permit coordination. If a permit is required to film at your property, we manage the application process. You will be kept informed but we handle the paperwork and authority liaison.
How is the usage fee for my property determined?
Location fees are agreed directly between the property owner and the production, with our facilitation. Fees depend on the duration of the shoot, the production type and access requirements.
